Hands down Magic Marketplace is the best trade show for
worldwide brand exposure. If you want to start getting your
brand into different countries then this is the show to go to.
Expect every brand from 1o deep to Gucci to Roca Wear
to Volcom.
Keepin it real with the action sports industry is what the
ASR Tradeshow is all about. Expect to see Metal Melisha,
Hurley, Volcom, DC, Billabong, Sullen, Spy, Reef, and a lot
of up and comers fighting for face time. Bring your
creativity and your drinking shoes.
This show is a lot more about brand building then anything
else. Allow 2-4 different seasons of exhibiting your brand
before you really start seeing orders being written. The
Southern California crowd is hard to influence when they
see new brands come and go every show. Even the big
boys don't see that many orders so don't feel bad if you
leave the show with no orders.
Surf Expo is your East Coast version of ASR. This show
has given a lot of people mixed feelings due to it being so
close to the date of ASR. The two shows are always only 4
days apart making it extremely hard and expensive to be a
clothing brand going to both shows. Be aware that in
August this show falls in Hurricane season and believe us
first hand that you may run the risk of getting to the show
and having a Hurricane hit. Yeah it's kind of a cool
experience but the name of the game is the more buyers
you get in the show the more orders you write. Just
remember that if a Hurricane hits more than 30% of buyers
and attendees will not show.
Agenda Trade Show is such a raw and grass roots trade
show. If you can get your brand into this show you have a
very good chance your will get some very good orders
under your belt. There is nothing but good things to say
about Agenda.
BREAD & BUTTER will blow your socks off. This is the
Magic Marketplace of Europe. Those Europeans know
how to do fashion above and beyond. Expect the same
brands you saw at Magic and even more that are equally
as cool but of the European calibor. This show is much
more sexy and in your face with a lot more risk. Recently
the show has moved back to it's home Berlin coming from
an off the hook run in Barcelona, Spain.
